Visitor Greeting Cards
Every week Visitors walk through the door of your Church or Ministry and every week they walk back out. How do you reach out to these Visitors and encourage them to return with the hope that they will eventually join your fellowship? Visitor follow up is the key and any Visitor follow up program should include a Visitor greeting card mailing plan.
The Visitor Greeting Card is an easy, economical and very personal method to let your Visitors know that in your Church or Ministry, they have a new place to call home and are always welcome. Follow up visits and phone calls have their place, but a Visitor greeting card is a powerful and non-intrusive first step in any effective outreach program. Beginning a relationship building outreach can be as simple as gathering Visitors' names and addresses on Sunday and then dropping a personalized Visitor greeting card in the mail on Monday. Along with your personal note of welcome you can include a short schedule of upcoming services or events that may spark their interest. Taking the time to reach in a personal way will increase the likelihood that your Visitors will return. We have heard from Churches and Ministries in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas and other states who have shared their stories with us about the fruitful return they have received from a regular follow-up Visitor outreach mailing plan. The holiday seasons can be a great time to start your Visitor outreach mailing program. Each one of those once-a-year Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter Visitors will appreciate feeling welcome, and all it may take is a personal card to set them on the path to joining your fellowship. | ||||
